The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary

A place to return to.

Built around one question: what happens to a nervous system given somewhere safe to settle.

The idea

Nature, science, and soul — meeting in one room.

The body keeps a record. Of the hours held at a desk, the nights cut short, the breath that never quite reached the bottom of the lungs.

The Sanctuary is built to help it let go of that record. Heat and cold. Movement and stillness. Skilled hands and unhurried attention.

Not a programme to complete. A place to return to.

Philosophy

Luxury, here,is the absenceof hurry.

We are interested in what happens to a nervous system given somewhere safe to settle.

Everything in this building is arranged around that one question.
